I like slow spiders you can gently shew away with a rolled up newspaper or a banana peel. (Or even catch in a handkerchief). Maybe they are just playing dead, but I like to think they are making a comment on the deadness in our eyes.
Next time you see a fast spider, ask it if it needs a chat or a cuppa soup.
They usually just scuttle away but I know they appreciate it.
